Blueberry Jalapeño Jam

Like most people I am a huge fan of charcuterie boards and in my opinion an integral component of a good one is a jam or jelly. It is used to complement the cheeses on offering and enhance the whole experience. This blueberry jalapeño jam was created with that concept in mind.

This jam is sweet and spicy bursting with fresh jalapeño and blueberry flavor. It’s a deep, rich blue/purple color that pops and helps you to gravitate towards it. It perfectly pairs with any creamy cheese such as goat cheese or Brie but strong enough to stand on its own with a sharp cheddar. I even had a friend add it to her cheeseburger so the uses are truly endless.

Making your own jam is not as labor intensive as one might think. My jam recipe is incredibly easy and quick to make. The process consists of cooking all the ingredients together for about 15 minutes before chilling overnight. Honestly the hardest part of the process is having enough patience to wait for it to sit!
