In my opinion there is no simpler pleasure then dunking a sweet, crisp cookie into a hot cup of tea. This affinity for cookies and tea was acquired during my time living in England and something that has stuck with me ever since. I’m always looking for new cookies to add to my repertoire and this one has officially earned its place!
Sweet, fragrant orange pairs perfectly with nutty, aromatic almond to create the most delicious gluten-free cookies. These cookies require minimal ingredients and no refined sugars or flours making them a healthier cookie alternative you can feel good about eating. Honey and orange provide just the right amount of sweetness to satisfying any sweet tooth without the negative effects of processed sugar. Almond flour adds just the right texture and flavor to give these cookies a pillowy, soft appearance.
On top of being incredibly delicious these cookies are also easy to make. This whole recipe from start to finish takes about 20 minutes to make (not including cooling time) making these cookies perfect for when that sweet craving hits.

Orange Almond Flour Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 Cups Almond Flour
- 1/4 Tsp Salt
- 4 Tbsp Coconut Oil melted
- 4 Tbsp Honey
- 1 Orange zested
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°
- Add almond flour and salt to a medium size mixing bowl and set aside. In a small mixing bowl add the melted coconut oil, honey, and zest from one orange. Mix until combined and add to the bowl with the almond flour. Knead the mixture comes together to form a soft dough-like consistency.
- Next take about a tablespoon of the cookie dough and roll into a ball and press onto a parchment lined baking sheet. There should be 9 cookies.
- Place in the oven for 10-13 minutes. Once they are golden, take them out of the oven and let cool for 30 minutes. I drizzled them with white chocolate and sprinkled on more orange zest.
