This is the best ever shredded beef recipe! Full of rich flavor perfect for tacos, nachos, burritos, and more!
Ingredients
- 2 lb Chuck Roast
- 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 3 Garlic Cloves
- 1 Large Onion
- 2 1/2 Cups Beef Stock
- 1 Tsp Salt
- 1/2 Tsp Pepper
- 1 Tsp Chipotle Powder
- 1/2 Tsp Cumin
- 1 Tsp Onion Powder
- 1 Tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/2 Tsp Cayenne
- 1 Tsp Smoked Paprika
- 2 Tbsp Tomato Paste
Instructions
- Start by pre-heating the oven to 400°
- Next, season the chuck roast with salt and pepper on all sides. In a large dutch oven over medium-high heat add the olive oil. Once the oil is hot add the chuck roast and sear on each side until a golden crust forms.
- Then, shut off the heat and add all of the remaining ingredients to the dutch oven. Cover the dutch oven and place in the oven for 2 hours.
- After, the 2 hours take out the dutch oven and shred the meat with two forks and its done!
